This week I opened my inbox to find the final cover proof of The Miniaturist’s Assistant. I am over the moon with the bold colors, the beautiful flora, and the glowing lanterns! And, of course, the cover endorsements from my literary heroines, bestselling authors Jacquelyn Mitchard and Connie May Fowler—with other lovely blurbs inside. Good heavens to betsy, am I fortunate.

Traditionally-published authors don’t get much, if any, say in their book’s cover art. So I’m especially thankful for the keen eye and artistic talents of Regal House Publishing’s designer, C.B. Royal.
