Operation Paperback sends used books to members of the military (active and retired) and, in some cases, their families, where they’re serving overseas or at home in the U.S. It’s a fabulous organization: well-run, efficient, and genuine. I love being a volunteer, because there’s nothing I like more than sharing books. It’s a small way for me to say “thank you” to the troops for all that they do.
