Saturday is Earth Day, and I love the Earth. In fact, it’s difficult for me to really express how much I love and need the natural world–how much my “places” mean to me and my family.

Never have our national wild and public lands ever been in such peril as they are today. So I’m letting my inner environmentalist, hippy, tree-hugging, conservationist, Earth-loving self loose in my column this week in The Greenville News. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
