I’m thrilled to announce that on May 2nd, I’ll be speaking at the Mother/Daughter/Sister/Friend Banquet at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Greenville, South Carolina. Hosted by the United Methodist Women, our theme will be “We Are All Sisters!” I plan to ruminate on what it means to be a woman in the modern world, something about which I’ve been lately doing a lot of thinking. I will try to be funny.

This is especially fun for me, because Aldersgate is my home church. I grew up there!
